We have lots of opportunities for you to get involved; we are always looking for people to join the planning committee and volunteers for the day of the walk. The 47th annual Durham CROP Hunger Walk will be virtual this year. Set a goal (5K, 5 miles, 10 miles, etc.) and walk ANYWHERE and ANYTIME April 10th through April 18th! Join us for a kick-off on April 10th and a wrap up celebration on April 18th also! Watch for future emails with more information, but for now you can take these steps to get ready:
In this time of COVID-19, world and local hunger has increased dramatically so now the need is greater than ever! Durham CROP Hunger Walk donations are used to support hunger alleviation programs around the world (including the U.S.) and in Durham. 75% goes to Church World Service, an international relief agency, and 25% stays in Durham and is distributed by Durham Congregations in Action (DCIA) to help our neighbors in need.
